I love peanut sauce with chicken, or peanut sauce with several Asian dishes. You can buy peanut sauce and only have to heat it in the microwave, but it’s much nicer to make it yourself. And it’s quite easy to make too!
5 tablespoons peanut butter
150 ml water
1 teaspoon sambal
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Half a lime
- Mix all ingredients together in a pan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring until you have a sauce.
- Add some more water to the peanut sauce if it’s too thick.
Of course you can change this recipe to your own taste by adding more sambal, or less soy sauce or add garlic and/or ginger or add some crushed peanuts on top when you take the sauce off the heat.
